Clarissa Conley

Therapist, MA, RMFTI, EFCT Trained (she/her)

Hi! My name is Clarissa.

I specialize in working with couples and families, as well as individuals navigating relationship and attachment challenges. I work from an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and systems-based perspective. In simple terms, I’m here to help you understand the emotions and relationship patterns that may be leaving you feeling stuck. Together, we can explore what’s underneath those patterns and work toward creating healthier, more secure connections.

My therapeutic style is compassionate, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I want the therapy room to feel like a safe space where you and your loved ones can show up as you are—the more the merrier! Most importantly, my goal is for you to feel heard and understood while building stronger connections and creating meaningful, lasting change.

I know starting couples therapy can feel intimidating, especially when there are difficult conversations or long-standing patterns between you. My hope is to make therapy feel less intimidating and more like a place where both partners can feel heard, supported, and understood without judgment.

You deserve to know where therapy is headed and how we’re going to get there. You should feel comfortable asking, “What is your plan to help us?”—and feel confident in the answer!

Education and Background

Before becoming a Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Florida in 2022. After graduating, I worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician, supporting children ages 2–12 on the autism spectrum for two years. This experience gave me a strong foundation in understanding child development, family dynamics, and the importance of meeting each person where they are.

In 2026, I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University. During my graduate internship in New Orleans, Louisiana, I had the opportunity to work with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of concerns.

I am also a member of the Louisiana Community for Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and have completed EFT training. Through my clinical training, supervision, peer relationships, and experiences with clients, I discovered my passion for working with couples and helping them create deeper, more secure connections.
